Why has GD Harries rebranded as Cymru Quarry Group?

We have grown significantly in recent years and now operate across 11 sites in Wales. Our new name better reflects our scale, ambition, and proud Welsh identity while maintaining the same values and service standards our customers know and trust.

What does our new name represent?

Our new name represents a new chapter for our business, emphasises our proud Welsh identity and reinforces our ambition to be the leading sustainable supplier of construction materials and services in Wales.

We are proud of our heritage as a family business founded that started in 1977 and has continued to improve and grow to a multi-site, multi-division business over those 49 years.

We have a new name but with the same vision and values to provide local service and products backed by the expertise and integrity of our people.

Are we under new ownership?

No, we are not under new ownership. The business remains wholly owned by SigmaRoc Group, which has supported our growth and continues to back our future ambitions.

Will this affect our contract or pricing?

The Legal name and branding on the contracts, quotations and delivery notes will change but all other details and prices will continue as previously agreed.

How will customers and partners experience the new brand?

We have a new look on the website, vehicles and communication but the people and contacts will remain the same. You’ll start to see our new identity across key touchpoints, including a refreshed website, updated logo, new signage at our sites, and branded vehicle livery .
