Civil engineering is a varied and interesting field of work, offering many different roles and career paths. From planning and estimating works in the office to surveying the site or operating state-of-the-art equipment, there are a number of jobs that support a project from start to finish.

Responsible for designing and analysing the structural components of buildings, bridges and other infrastructure projects, structural engineers use computer software to create detailed designs, conduct feasibility studies and ensure that structures are safe and meet regulatory standards.
Geotechnical engineers play an important role in analysing the soil and rock properties of construction sites to determine the feasibility of a project. They design and oversee the construction of foundations, retaining walls and other structures that support the weight of buildings and other infrastructure.
Environmental engineers ensure that infrastructure projects are sustainable and do not harm the environment. They design and implement solutions to reduce pollution, manage waste, and protect natural resources.

Our apprentices are currently enrolled into college and benefiting from real jobs, that combine work with training and study.
